KVS Teacher Vacancy Eligibility Criteria

1. PGT (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, BioTechnology, Commerce, Economics, History, Pol Science, Geography)

1). Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50 % Marks

Or

Candidates must hold a Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.

2. B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University except PGT (Computer Sc.)

3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English Medium.

Desirable: Candidates should have Knowledge of Computer Applications.

For PGT (Computer Science only)

1. Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in any of the following: B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university which is recognized by the Govt. of India.

OR

B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University/Institute.

OR

M.Sc(Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University.

OR

Candidates must have done B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University.

OR

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University.

OR

‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.

OR

‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.

2). Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

2. TGT (English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Sanskrit)

1) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as with at least 50% marks in aggregate ;

OR

Candidates must hold Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.

3. Primary Teacher

1). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)

OR

2). Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Level 1 only for class 1 to 5) Conducted by CBSE.

3). Proficiency to teach through Hindi and English Medium

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

4. Computer Instructor, Music (Vocal and Instrumental), Dance, Experts in Games and Sports, Coaches, Yoga & Art and Craft Teacher

Computer Instructor:

Candidates must have done B.E(CS/IT)/B.Tech(CS/IT)/M.Sc(CS/IT/Electronics with Computer Science Components)/B.Sc.(CS)/BCA/MCA or equivalent from a recognized university. Bachelors/ Master Degree in any Science subject/Mathematics with PGDCA from a recognized university. Post Graduate Degree in any subject with PGDCA from a recognized university/”O” or ‘A’ Level from DOEACC or Higher Level.

Sports Coaches: FOR Coaches, B.P.Ed. from Recognized University/Institute with 50 %

Yoga : Candidates must be Graduate with diploma in Yoga

Music Experts: Candidates must have pass Senior Secondary School with minimum 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.

ii) Competence to teach through English\Hindi medium.
